This is the digital document of the work being made by Audrey (myself) with collaborators Bailey, Kathryn, and Dasan. One purpose of this project is that the piece is my senior BFA Dance Capstone and Honors thesis project at Wayne State University. In making this work, I am developing a choreographic practice that asks for us to bring our whole/personal/psychological/live selves into the work and allows for the project of making the dance to be a living durational performance. Through this, I hope to show how choreographic process is just as important as presenting a finished "product" and that the act of choreographing can be a performance in itself.

The process of making the dance is the project - the choreographed piece will be performed on April 24 2017.

This website is a nonphysical documentation of the process and will house the progression of our thoughts, choreographies, movement, desires, fantasies, inspirations, contexts, and concepts. By recording the work we do in the studio onto this digital landscape, the making of the work becomes accessible as a progressional digital performance. The audience is able to be an audience to the process at any time. "The audience" as a concept is also able to be the infinite digital internet void - the physical, space taking dance making process can then take place where there is no space.

This site will be updated and added to throughout and along with the process.
